The Tribalise Directory a very functional, flexible, online business directory. 
Summary
You can display entries by customers, suppliers, partners, clubs, persons, shops, products, etc. Additionally, you can create unlimited numbers of directories, or sections, with unlimited and multi-leveled categories and subcategories. Unlike Gumtree and other Directory services, Tribalise allows you to post entries in several categories. Bulk uploading of listings is also possible.
Registered users are allowed to add, modify, delete or renew themselves in the directory. Alternatively, the Website owner or administrator can manage it for them. The directory associates the entries with an expiration date, which means you can publish an entry for an specific period of time. This helps keep your directory up-to-date, and is especially important for those directories with paid entries or advertisements.
Functions
The directory shows the data in two views. 
1. Category View: Is an overview where all entries of the directory will be shown in V-Cards-view. A V-Cards is an electronic “business card” that holds relevant contact information of the user/advertiser.
2. Details View: Each entry has a link to its detailed description including images, media, text, etc.
The system also sends out notification emails to users on any updates made to specific entries, such as adding, editing or renewal of the entry. It also notifies users if the administrator has approved an entry. Tribalise Directory includes different features for each of the Multiple Listing levels. For example, a picture or live web links can be available only to a premium listing level, allowing you to restrict visibility of certain entries to members only.
Users can click on a service provider’s link and see additional content such as rating and reviews, a Google map, contact details, web and email links, images, logos, etc. You tag certain providers as "Featured" in the Directory, which puts them at the top of the search results page in its own hilighted box. There are a lot of configuration options, ranging from the number of listings per page through to display per listing.

Summary
You can initially install the DIRECTORY (BASIC) Gallery plugin as part of the Directory (Advanced) module.
The images will be shown in the detailed view as small thumbnails. On click, the images will be shown enlarged with a lightbox effect. The sizes of the thumbnails and of the lightbox images will be setup in the plugin administration.
Functions
The DIRECTORY (Advanced) gives you the ability to associate the entries with an expiration date. This feature is especially useful when dealing with directories with paid entries, but also to keep your directory as current as possible. You can either set up an arbitrary fixed expiry time for all entries (e.g. 90 days) or you define the expiration date of an individual entry. Moreover, the author can define the entry expiration date by using a calendar field, making any advertisements very easy to manager.
Once an entry has expired, the author is able o renew it directly. The system will simply send the author an Expiry Notification email prior to the expiration date, along with a link that will enable the renewal of the entry.
